Title: Juniors
Russiafan - July 3, 2007 02:58 PM (GMT)
The girls singles is underway and Naomi Cavaday (seeded 9) won her first round match with ease. Her potential 3rd round opponent is Urszula Radwanska who I believe beat Naomi in the QF last year - hopefully Naomi can get revenge and do well here :)
Russiafan - July 3, 2007 05:14 PM (GMT)
Anna Fitzpatrick is also through to the second round with a battling 7-5, 6-4 win.

:yahoo: good news :)
Russiafan - July 3, 2007 10:07 PM (GMT)
Sadly Jessica Jackson (who qualified for the main draw event) lost in three sets. Naomi Broady (a wildcard) was defeated 6-3, 6-3 by the 2nd seed Pivorova.
Still 2 wins to 4 losses so far is a good start :D

Scotsguy - July 5, 2007 10:07 PM (GMT)
Anna Fitzpatrick won her 2nd round match against the 4th seed which is pretty impressive from the British girl
In the boys singles
Graeme Dyce(GBR) is into the 3rd round after defeating Semrajc 7-5 6-4, he now plays Berankis.
Marcus Willis(GBR) beat the 12th seed, John-Patrick Smith 6-4 7-6, he now plays Elias.
Scotsguy - July 6, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
Anna Fitzpatrick is through to the semis of the juniors with a 6-2 7-5 win over Gail Brodsky, She now plays 6th seed Urszula Radwanksa.
Russiafan - July 8, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
Donald Young (USA) [3] won the boys title, whilst Urszula Radwanska (POL) [6} emulated her older sister and claimed the girls title.
Britain's Anna Fitzpatrick fell at the SF stage to the eventual champion. A couple of our boys made it to the 3rd round stage including Berkshire's Marcus Willis and Scotland's Graeme Dyce. Naomi Cavaday [9] sadly fell in the second round which was a surprise as she made the QF last year.
