Title: Order of play Day 5
trisco - June 28, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
I'll whack the full schedule on here tomorrow but they have put Hingis on Court 2 again.
Not happy :angry3:

I know, she deserves better, hope she makes it through today :ok:

Justine Henin is on court already..
I think that play ought to start at 11am in general in the first week. Don't know if that would adversely impact spectators' efforts to get to Wimlbedon and to the courts though..?

surely Hingis deserves a stab at least one Centre Court match this year
Queen Justine - June 29, 2007 10:24 AM (GMT)
Justine has broken Vesnina already :phew:
2-1 with Justine serving!
ALLEZ JUSTINE :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
Queen Justine - June 29, 2007 10:38 AM (GMT)
Oh my .... 6-1 in 20 mins against Vesnina.
Justine is really on it today .... she's been ripping those one-handed backhand down lines like nobody's business.  She only lost 3 points in the 1st set! :yikes:
Let's hope she can keep it up in the 2nd set. :yikes:

Play suspended - it's absolutely bucketing down!! Just when she was on a good roll and had momentum :(
She absolutely hates rain delays

I would struggle to get there for 11 to be honest. But I have made it for 12 when they had to start early in 2005.

play is about to resume :) :)

I guess cricket matches at Lord's and the Oval start at 11, or even sometimes 10:30, so am thinking that Wimbledon could do the same?
Or maybe the cricket ought to start later instead..
A 12pm start could be a good compromise given the things like getting through security are more an issue these days..
