Just watching on BBCi the Bally Srebotnik match..
Bally is an extremely competent player, I reckon she can achieve so muc more, ok, she has just come back from some serious injuries but I remember seeing her years ago thinking she will easily break the top 100.
I think she needs to get out of the LTA's grasp, they should like they have for Murray, partly fund some of her coaching and send her off to the Sanchez Casal academy or something like that.
Not getting at Jo Durie and Co etc but Bally ain't going to learn much about todays game by sticking with em.
Surely she could benefit a lot more from going there??
I REALLY think her talent is going to waste with her current coaching staff..
Might start an online petition and send it to the LTA
shes looking quite hot this year too  :P2
I agree, Bally does have something that the other British girls lack, which is something resembling a weapon. She has a big serve( once clocked a 119mph serve at Wimby) and is very solid off the ground.
Alan Jones and Jo Durie are nice enough, but i dont see them as harsh coaches, which you need at top level, for your coaches to push you into that next level. Obviously there are other factors such as that liver problem which has haunted her for years and injuries, which led to a back operation last year.
She's just so raw though..... nothing stable enough to make a real charge in the top 100. She needs to get fitter, and get the belief. After getting broken in the decider yesterday, just gave up the fight. Not the way :tsk:

I'd def agree with this..
I think the Sanchez/Casal academy could give her that though.
If I had enough cash I would pay for her to go for a year!
