I'm not sure if this has already been said but according to July's Ace Magazine Mary is set to return in the autumn:
"Mary Pierce hopes to be in competitive shape by the autumn. 'My injury was veery unusual and made it a lot slower to heal', said the 32 year old about the horrendous fall she suffered whilst playing Vera Zvonareva in Linz last October. She ended up with a torn ligament in her left knee. Pierce, winner of two Grand slam singles titles, spent six months doing rehab in the United States."
Thats good news and it would be great to see her back out on court again. Hoepfully this won't turn into another Monica/Jennifer situation where she keeps on insisting that she'll return but it looks unlikely....
The fact that she turned up at the pre-wimbledon party, looking mega relaxed, tells me she is feeling good and ready to return. Im not expecting great things tbh, but i just cant wait to see her back

Exactly I hope she can play a few tournaments, get a few wins and have a proper fair well year in 2008 :)
I think she will come back. And didn't she say she wanted to play hte Olympics? Not sure if she'll be eligible, but anyway.
I'd die if she left us in the lurch like Capriati and Seles though.
