Description: Betting one-stop shop

How about a one-stop shop for all the latest for those who like a flutter on the tennis?
I've not had a bet for ages, but I'm considering putting £50 on various bets today (Monday) - what do you reckon to the following?
£10 - accumulator on Federer and Serena to win the singles titles
£10 - accumulator on Federer and Henin to win the singles titles
£10 - accumulator on Federer, Roddick, Kiefer and Vliegen to win their 1st round matches (Kiefer to beat Volandri looks tempting, as does Vliegen to beat Monaco)
Cheeky £5 on Mardy Fish to beat Nadal
£5 on Dechy to beat Dementieva
£5 on Becker to beat Chela
£5 on Djokovic to reach final
What do you reckon to the above? I'd save a bet or two for later on in the tournament, perhaps backing whoever is more convincing out of Mauresmo and Sharapova for womens' singles title.

get on 10/3 that there are no british women in the 2nd round, that's a steal :ok:

I'm tempted Oblivion, but I think at least one of the GB ladies can reach 2nd round - South has a chance against Sugiyama I reckon...

yeah i think o'brien and south will win though. it's 1/5 that at least one of the brits makes it through :yikes:

I'd have the fiver on Becker to beat Chela. :)
Not sure who is gonna win the women's so hard to know what acumulator you can do. What would you make from each?
Djoko to reach the final - not a bad bet but I think he's got the most interesting and in some ways tough part of the draw. Baghi, Hewitt, Karlovic in the mix. I'm nto worried about the top halfof that section though cos it is Nalby and Davy basically. Depends on the odds - if they are potentially proftable worth a shot.
Dechy is a good bet IMO as she is good on grass and we all know her opponent's weaknesses.
I must admit to be totally disorganised in the betting dept this year. I've noramlly got them going on Betfairr now and I cover losses and stuff by keeping it all on there, but have done nothing so far. I fancy Henin or Mauresmo in the women's though, and maybe Serena depending on how she perfroms. Not sure abotu Venus at the mo.

Thanks for that Superbrat - had a look at Djokovic's draw, and yes, compared to his Roland Garros draw, this one is a lot tougher, so I may well steer clear of that bet. The toughest quarter in fact: Hewitt, Baghdatis, Karlovic, Kiefer, Mirnyi Nalbandian. I don't think Davydenko will get far though - he hates grass, and he probably has one eye already on the US hardcourt season.
How about Kendrick to beat Robredo? I'm a bit doubtful on this as Robredo as pretty decent on faster courts, but its a tricky draw nevertheless.

Well, I went to William Hill yesterday - they wouldn't let me bet on the outright matches as there was tennis in play at the time. However, I did a bit of match betting...
Cheeky £3 bet at 6/1 on Fish to beat Nadal.
£10 accumulator on Djokovic, Hewitt, Nalbandian, Kiefer and Vliegen to win their matches - only came out at about 2/1 though which I was a bit gutted with!
