So many people say that Margaret won most of her Slams due to weak fields at the Australian Open.

While this to some extent may be true, if you\'re going to say that, you also have tio acknowledge the fact that Steffi won a lot of her slam\'s due to Monica\'s absence, because of the stabbing.

If not, that\'s just hypocritical.

Actually the lack of respect Margaret Court gets pisses me off. She was a great champion, and not all of her AO's came in depleted fields.

She and Billie played in two Australian Finals, plus she won so many slams on grass and also 5 on clay as well. This shows she was one of the greatest all rounders ever!

The fact that she retired twice to have children and came back both times to reach the summit of the tennis world is a testament to what a great champion she was :)
