Glad that after his nightmare last Sunday and despite being physically and mentally frained as he must have been, he managed to come out and defend his title. Despite some ropey moments he came through. :ok: Still the King of Grass.

Now has 41 successive wins on grass, equalling the great bjorn Borg's record, although Borg onyl played Wimbers so Fed says he is nto paying to much attenion to this record as he has the advantage of playing more tournies than Borg.

Congrats to Federer :ok:

Anyone seen him this week in action? I havent; sadly. Anyoen see this final?

Didnt see it, but glad Feds back on track. It reminds me a bit of McEnroe being gutted after losing the French final, an even bigger disappointment as he was two sets and a break up. But he went on to play probably his best ever tennis in the Wimby final.
Hope Fed does the same, though the competitions looking tougher this year with Hewitt and Henman back to form, Blake looks dangerous , and who knows about Nadal (if he turns up) !

no disrespect to fed but even if he breaks borg's record (and he will barring a miracle) is still doesn't compare to what BB achieved. to get a record like that purely based on results at 1 grandslam. remarkable.

The thing that sets Borg apart is the fact that he had a similar winning streak going at Roland Garros at the same time.
Flame, love the avatar. Would make a good caption competition. :D

Glad to see Fed back on track!! Hopefully that customary swagger will be back on show next week :)

SB, he is indeed the king of grass! :D

I'm looking forward to seeing him move through the gears, because for me, when he does, it's poetry in motion.

It's all about aesthetics..that's just the way it is..:)

Couldn't agree more petalp, looking forward to it too. How the hell some people say he is boring to watch is beyond me.
