Title: BBC Reporting

Does anyone else think this is a really bizarre bit of reporting from the BBC? Instead of saying that Boggo won, they keep saying how Baker lost...... My only thought is that it's been nicked from BBC Scotland or something - being as it keeps mentioning Baker is a Scot. Also, i like their spelling of Butorac.....

Baker misses out on Roddick clash

Jamie Baker missed out on a third-round meeting with world number five Andy Roddick after losing to Alex Bogdanovic at Queen's Club.
Baker's fellow Scot, Jamie Murray, made the doubles third round with Eric Booterac, beating seventh seeds Ashley Fisher and Tripp Phillips 6-1 6-3.

But Baker lost to his fellow British wild card entry 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 at the Artois Championships.

The Scot had been a set and a break up before slipping to defeat.

Baker, ranked 247 in the world, had looked poised for a fine win against the Englishman, who began the tournament 130 places above him.

The Scot won a finely-balanced opening set on Court One.

Baker lost his serve in the sixth game, but he rallied to break back immediately and won against the serve again in the ninth before comfortably closing the set.

He broke for a 4-3 lead in the second set, but the 20-year-old surrendered the initiative straight away as Bogdanovic made the most of some sloppy serving.

The tide was turning, with Bogdanovic reaping the reward of his greater accuracy.

But a tie-break was needed to separate the pair, which was settled when Bogdanovic forced Baker wide with his serve before striking the winner.

The match was still finely balanced in the early stages of the third set.

But a wide, looping shot saw Baker broken in the seventh, with Bogdanovic playing with increasing authority.

The Englishman broke again without conceding a point, his backhand completing a 4-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-3 triumph.

That should lift Bogdanovic into the world's top 100 for the first time.

tim said 'well, I've just lost to a Croat on grass this week, so that bodes well doesnt it?'
