I am not watching, but the stats suggest that there is much more pressure on the Jankovic serve than the Henin serve. Unless it's down to early nerves or form fluctuates that can be a pretty ominous sign.

Jankovic has her first relatively straightforward service game of the match, with a hold to 30 (though she held triple game point). She needs to stop going for so much - that drive volley miss long was farcical - and go back to her strengths, which is sticking to defence and letting the rally play out until she finds an opening.

Mary Jo just pissed me off, she said that Serena has similar problems to Sharapova moving on clay...she didn't play that badly! :yikes: :lmaao:

Looks like Henin will inexplicably get away with a 45% first serve percentage again - Jankovic has yet to make inroads on the Belgian's serve. Looked like she might manage to finally force deuce on it but another UE and the No 1 goes up 2-1 in the second.

Well this is over....

Henin lets a few break points go by but keeps applying pressure, and gets the first break of the set to go up 3-1. At this point I'd just be thrilled if we can avoid a second 6-2, 6-1 rout of the day. I can't believe Schnyder v Sharapova will stand as the 'highlight' of the women's draw.

Well, feast or famine - Jankovic hasn't sniffed so much as a single break point all along but gets three at once at 0-40. Yet she only needs one and stays in the match a while longer 2-3 on serve.

Out of the frying pan into the fire. Jankovic quickly digs a 15-40 hole and Henin goes up 4-2.

This is uncomfortably reminiscent of the Serena match - Henin gives away a service game to love out of pity but her opponent can't capitalise. :unsure: I can't see Jankovic forcing a third set now, let alone winning it if she did.

After a game of several deuces, Henin hangs onto her serve to make it 5-2.

Jankovic needs a get out of jail free card now - perhaps she should borrow Paris Hilton's (Paris is out of jail after serving 3 days only).
