Title: Djokovic v Nadal pre-match build up
Description: Build up to the 2nd semi-final

Well, Nadal has yet to drop a set at Roland Garros, and Djokovic's 'Patience' was tested in the 3rd round, but the young Serb is improving all the time, and gives the impression he's close to a really big win which will set up his career - could it be a shock win against Nadal?
Or will Nadal do a professional demolition job on him - winning a tight first 2 sets, before running way with the 3rd?

Don't know but Nadal should not underestimate Djokovic. Despite not having a great consistent perfromance against Patience, Djoko found a way to win and he never took his eye off the prize. He has the nerve for the big points, but then so does Nadal. Any tie breaks are going to be high octane edge of your seat, hopefully! Today against Andreev, Djoko he was much improved. Andreev played well, but Djoko neutralised his threat and appeared to be thinking well on court today rather than just going for shots.
What Djoko has going for him that some other players don't is that he won't be intimidated by Nadal;he seems to relish taking on top players. . He looks fit and strong too, and should be able to keep up the pace stamina wise. His serve seems in good shape and too, and I get the impression he is working himself into this tourny, he hasn't peaked yet but has steadily improved, and could well peak in this next match. Not sure how much damage he will do to Nadal, but I do think he will make a good fight of it and I would guess he will take at least a set provided he brings his form out. I believe he has an outside chance to make the final. Depends on how Nadal comes out, a few shots here and there could be the deciding factor. Win or lose, I get the feeling that this slam is going to be a real coming af age for young Djoko, and I hope this is going to be a good match because these are two exciting young players whom I woudl love to see playing at their best at the same time.

I'd imagine there'd be at least 2 tie-breaks in this match. Djokovic's serving will be key, as will Nadal's ability to produce those exhilirating winners on the stretch on clutch points.

Copy and paste from another thread but more appropriate here:
Djoko could do some damage (like Davydenko would have). One of the toughest opponent of Nadal this forthnight was his first: Del Potro. For a set Del Potro showed that by being agressive on serve and from the baseline, Nadal could be beaten. He even served for the first set but his immaturity or nerve cost him dear. Djoko there will probably show more nerves and stamina.
With Nadal the score hardly shows the story. A 63 63 63 does not mean it was easy or that Nadal was way better. It simply means the opponent could not cope with the bounce. If the opponent cannot then the score is, as often, very one-sided. On the other hand if the opponent can time those high bounces well, Nadal becomes very vulnerable...especially over a 5 set match where he has to do a lot of running.
Nadal shoudl win but an upset would not totally surprise me.

I have every beleif Nadal will win but I want Djoko to test him and show his true ability and fight!
He will certainly be a slam winner along with Murray and maybe a few others once Federer has gone.

Whilst there were one or two surprise faces in the last 8 of the draw, the semi final lineup could well have been predicted prior to the tournament. It was certainly how I thought it would end up!
The one player however that did look a little shakey earlier on in the tournament was Djokovic. However, I think that certainly since the match against Patience, he has played better and better each match.
Although I also think that Nadal will win, I hope that Djoko does win at least one set in the match. Something similar to the Nadal v Murray AO match earlier this year would be very entertaining!

Djokovic in my opinion is the best young player . I'm hoping he can have tightly contested Match with Rafa but in the end I don't see Nadal losing this one. He just is soo good on clay.
