Title: Henman Cracks Tursunov!!!
Description: at last, the result we have waited for

What a confidence boost this will be psychologically! I'm so pleased, almost in disbelief, and almost speechless! Not his best performance, and not Tursunov's either, but a win ia a win and boy did he need THIS one. He coudl so easily have blown it, even if Tursy was not firing in so many winners. Soem good play form hi though, forcing Tursy to make errors and finishing him of nicely at the net.
Some hilarious errors from Tursunov though, anyone see? :D
I think Tim is in excellent form this season, and it is so great to see someone with such brilliant grasscourt skills progressing at Queens. His forehand to me seems to have been very solid which is helpign tremendously with those winners down the line. I think this bodes very well for the future weeks. And I wouldn't be feeling mega confident if I were Hewitt or Nadal, his next opponent in the semis. Any thoughts on the match or the next one?
Would he be better playing Hewitt or Nadal?
C'mon Tim :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Oh yes SB - marvellous stuff - and yes, I did see some corkers from Tursunov today - was nice to watch Henmans reaction too!
Was talking over the Nadal or Hewitt thing with Sam earlier - I plumped for Nadal cause I thought maybe his lack of grasscourt experience would be a bonus for Tim and I just dont know that Tim could beat Hewitt again... but having just had a glimpse at that match - I really dont know
I just hope that whoever it is - Tim brings his bestest game and whips their butt!

I'd rather have Nadal in the semi for sure!
WE GOT REVENGE OVER THAT DAMN RUSSIAN!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Yes, well it is Hewitt now! I think Nadal was a bit wimpy pullin out, sorry to his fans, btw.
Anyway I hope Henners can kick butt tommorrw.

hey Pebs, if tim beats hewitt will you cry like you did last time? i probably will, lol. even my heart of stone would melt if tim could beat his (other) nemesis and contest another queens title.
and isn't andrew castle an idiot? he virtually handed tim the queens and wimbledon title in the post-match interview. SHUT UP CASTLE YOU MUPPET!! tim's trying to play it cool!!

i almost hate to put this into words but wouldn't it be wonderful if, after everything he's been though over the last year (and us with him), if tim henman could finally win his first ever title on grass. i'd never stop smiling. :)

It would be the most delicious of ironies - Mind wouldn't it be even more glorious if he could take wimbledon...
Looking at roger's grass form the odds are decreasing by the day (although they are still long :( )
