Gosh, how close was that?!
Great clearance by Terry...

OMG is this ENGLAND playing really? How could they not have scored a goal after 74 mins against a comparatively poor team? Lifeless, they really are.

Yes it was about time LDF! Now that Coruch is rough looking! I imagine him propping up the bar in a dodgy pub and scowling at new customers! roflmao

Yeh, great strike :D

Gerrard's was a nice strike and as for Crouch.... that should have been his 3rd or 4th goal of the game. The fact he blew so many earlier just shows the weakness of Sven's striker choices - he has no replacement game-worthy.
But a great job for England to go through and hopefully, T&T will come through with a potential for round 2. They definately deserve it.

Crouch has to go - simple as that.
What annoys me is, at 6ft 7 he seems reluctant to head the ball half the time (apart from the goal), and he almost tries too hard to prove he isn't clumsy with his height. I'd rather he was clumsy and effective.
That chance he missed in the first half, when on his own on the penalty spot from that cross, was shocking. Why didn't he control it?
Rooney and Owen for the Sweden game. Give them a go
