At last! and without a coach, is this significant, has Fed shaken off a huge psychological weight?

Probably, and if we needed any proof that Roche was not helping Fed improve, here it is!

Poor abused apostrophe in the thread title. :(
But :yahoo: to Fed's win!
Some interesting parts of the comments after the match on court: Nadal wished Roger 'good luck for the French' and said that it was a pity that his streak was broken, but if anyone had to beat him, then Roger 'is the man'. Fed acknowledged Rafa's winning streak as an incredible achievement.
Now for the French ...

Yes.. mistreatment of apostrophe..
A fantastic win for Roger, esp coming back from a set down and not playing good tennis at all in the first set.
Poor Rafa.. I guess that he did indeed run out of steam, and perhaps against other players could and would have added to his collection of clay court titles..
Obviously sets things up wonderfully for RG. I hope that they both reach the final again :) I mean, of course I want Roger to win it, but if he does then if he beats the king of clay in doing so then that would be THE way to do it in style..
But a major psychological barrier broken for the maestro, that's for sure :ok:
