Yeh... it certainly looks like a mistake for Nadal to have played Hamburg. The scoreline really should tell its own tale, even to the people who didn't watch it - Federer clearly wouldn't 6-2, 6-0 Nadal unless there was something wrong. I think a week off should be enough for him to recuperate, but at least it adds an element of uncertainty to RG now. If Nadal had won today, he was a 100% certainty for Paris, now it's more like 90%.

I am not sure about that Wise. As I said earlier in this thread, a Federer in the zone can bagle or breadstick anybody on any surface....Nadal on clay included.
