Why?

You like Phrases with four words starting with F's?

Dark_Necrofear - May 18, 2007 02:59 PM (GMT)
Because Alliteration is fun especially when the statement is true!

Wise_Analyst - May 20, 2007 02:52 PM (GMT)
Yeh... it certainly looks like a mistake for Nadal to have played Hamburg. The scoreline really should tell its own tale, even to the people who didn't watch it - Federer clearly wouldn't 6-2, 6-0 Nadal unless there was something wrong. I think a week off should be enough for him to recuperate, but at least it adds an element of uncertainty to RG now. If Nadal had won today, he was a 100% certainty for Paris, now it's more like 90%.

I am not sure about that Wise. As I said earlier in this thread, a Federer in the zone can bagle or breadstick anybody on any surface....Nadal on clay included. Nadal being tired helped certainly but a totally relaxed Federer is simply unbeatable wherever, whoever. in 2 years it might be different but for now the best of him is better than the best of anybody else. He did not wait today to breadstick Nadal on clay. He has done it before.

fedrules - May 20, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
that's right in the 1st set at last year's RG final,if my memory serves me well.Rog was certainly in the zone today.Let's hope his confidence remains sky high in Paris.

It certainly was,but concerned that you feel Fed needs a cool day in Paris to be able to claim RG title.Of course he also has to reach the final first which is not a fait accompli..but here's hoping.
