Has anyone else seen this film about King Leonidas and the Battle of Thermopylae?
I thought it was really good, a little odd perhaps. It was quite historically accurate and had a distinctive style to watch, which I quite liked.
It was a show piece more than anything, granted, but it was definitely a good film to lose yourself in for a couple of hours.
I saw it the day it was released as I am a fanatic about Greek mythology...It was an epic and it was great.Try playing the Game GOD OF WAR PS2,its marvelous...
That movie was based on the Game Spartan Total Warrior PS2
I wouldn't be surprised if elments of it were DN. But I believe the film was primarily based on Frank Miller's Graphic Novel 300.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
I sometimes got pissed off by their speeches about freedom and all, but there still were a few memorable and rather amusing lines ("Tonight, we dine in hell!" or "Give them nothing! But take from them everything!", or even "Earth and water? Oh, you'll find plenty of both down there.")
The film was entertaining with its funny style, although I don't think that it'll go down as one of my favourite ones, just one my friends and I would chit-chat about laughingly.
