This match tomorrow promises to be quite interesting. Im quite surprised they have only played each other 3 times, with Hingis leading 2-1, although Schnyders win came from a Hingis withdrawal, so technically, she has never actually beaten Martina. Their last match was EIGHT years ago :o and this will be their first match on clay. Last week, i would have expected a Hingis whitewash considering Pattys recent form, however, Schnyder has managed to bagel her last 2 opponents and seems to have found form from nowhere, wheras Martina hasnt played much tennis recently and her match today was far from convincing. I predict Martina in 3

I would go for Scnyder in 3!
Martina was not convincing at all today, she was just relying on Bondarenko hitting it out and Patty won't let her get away with that!

Looks like Hingis came back from her layoff too soon as she herself suggested. What a mystifying loss. I hope Ivanovic can take care of Schnyder; I have nothing against the Swiss veteran, who has some nice variety to her game, but I was looking forward to seeing her relinquish her Top 20 spot sooner rather than later to one of the up-and-comers.

I may be a bit late but Jeez Martina.....
If she can't perform to the level the rest of the girls do and Schnyder beats her like this??? What more can she do?
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Hingis career retirement anytime soon..
She is too great a champion to have these sorta results which will be very hard to swallow..
