I have noticed that a year ago there were 140 users online at CC. I think that was during the Rome Final.

Was it just because of that great final, or was there some other special reason?

What chance we will repeat it this sunday?

I don't think I've ever seen more than 40 visitors online at once. Last year, the board was new and there were lots of casual visitors from other boards too (like The Pit Lane from whence CC sprang). It'd certainly be fun to see lots of folks on at once

I remember that, the BeeB shut down with technical problems so we passed around the link for here, and there was a lot of interest with it being a final

The beeb tennis site used to shut down at 6pm GMT on Sundays,

The Fed Rafa match was still going on, and the beeb site closed at a really exciting point in the match!

Someone (can't remember who :unsure: ) managed to post a link to CC, and there was a mass stampede over to catch the remainder of the match!! :lol:

Crikey, your right :o i forgot it shut early at the weekend, and at 9 during the night!!! I went on the bbc radio 1 forums the other night to see if any of the old posters were on, and it was shut :rolleyes:
