Title: Murray/Butorac blog
Dinky Jo - April 24, 2007 08:07 PM (GMT)
These two are blogging from Barcelona - can anyone explain why they're called Booty and Stretch - or do I not want to know???
Anyway, the blog is pretty amusing - check it out here:
Booty and Stretch Blog

I assumed "stretch" was just because of his height (even though he's not exceptionally tall) and "booty" is just derived from the first syllable of Butorac. But I can see why booty-stretch could cause a bit of  .
And I agree. The blog is rather amusing.

no problem - some have them have been awful tbh - just "I had dinner last night. it was good" But if there are any worth reading i'll always try and post them! I think it's such a good idea - gives a bit of an insight in to what really goes on on the tour, who is friends with who etc etc. :)

Manzikert - April 25, 2007 08:18 PM (GMT)
I was disappointed to see that the in-form tandem lost an eminently winnable opening match against the unlikely (and first-time) pairing of Lee/Vliegen, just as they took on blogging duties.
But I see they've decided to continue at least for a few further entries from training in London, a decision as amusing and whimsical as the tone they've taken with it. It's unprecedented (if the term can even be used for something as informal as this), but then player blogs have been rather thin on the ground especially when compared to this time last year, so I'm sure the ATP site is happy to have some more ink up there; interestingly even for the few that have been posted this year, Haas did manage to make good on the trend of winning a title alongside keeping a blog for the tourney.
