SaraLess - April 17, 2007 01:20 PM (GMT)
A win for Roger, am confident on this one!!
Dark_Necrofear - April 17, 2007 01:21 PM (GMT)
Well this is starting And Im watching the warm up...However i fear that this might be the only thing I get to see of this match coz Its cricket world cup and its South Africa Versus England which is quite a crunch match!
So they will be changing it here in the office :(
Tenez - April 17, 2007 01:21 PM (GMT)
What is Seppi style? Is he a top spinner like most Spanish players? If so this shoudl be a good test/warm up for him.

Dark, does anyone do any work in your office or do you all just sit around watching world sports all day?
Phantomofthemessageboard - April 17, 2007 01:25 PM (GMT)
The match is on bwin.com, as well as the Berdych one.
chairman - April 17, 2007 01:30 PM (GMT)
Ah well, there seems to be an upset here. I guess Seppi can take home the fact that he is extremely better looking than his opponent. Which is not even enough to model.
chairman - April 17, 2007 01:35 PM (GMT)
Excellent game from roger. His unforced errors seem to lower than expected.

Well,Im the Manager so my team work whilst I watch the sport :D
But we are fare and normally vote and since Im the only tennis fanatic I always get preference but in this case coz Im South African and its a big match I gotta be fare so yeah, the cricket takes preference!
But the idea behind a TV in the office is that its there to give you a break. The TV is a natural distraction...The team work in fromt of computers for 8 and a half hours so you gotta have that kinda break and thats why they say a TV is a NATURAL distraction!

I see, sounds good, being the boss has its perks :D
SaraLess - April 17, 2007 01:45 PM (GMT)
Seppi is ranked 101 but there doesn't look like there is 100 places between them as the Italian does well on his serve to take the game to 15.
Are some posters writing for Eurosport?!

If wise were here, he would explain exactly what I meant. roflmao roflmao roflmao roflmao
SaraLess - April 17, 2007 01:46 PM (GMT)
Federer's forehand has been letting him down today - nine unforced errors - NO WINNERS so far.
I am now convinced of it!! roflmao
COME ON ROGELIO!!!
chairman - April 17, 2007 01:50 PM (GMT)
Too many burgers. naughty roger, the man cant even run. Where is Canas when you need him in the first round :tsk: :tsk: :tsk:
SaraLess - April 17, 2007 01:50 PM (GMT)
Federer again goes 0-30 down and needs some big serving to get him out of trouble - very few sublime Federer winners so far though.
Another Eurosport comment
I figured it was a touch of sarcasm from Chairman...the sky will turn green before he openly compliments Roger in such a way :D

Now does anyone know what the hell the score is wih Federer!

To be fair if he is going to get the never ending praise and superlatives when he plays his best, then he is inevitably going to get a bit of gentle criticim when he doesn't play his best. Im sure he can take it.
Tennisveritas - April 17, 2007 02:03 PM (GMT)
Noooo 5-5 on the first and Roger had plenty of possibilities to close the set... :(2 :(2 ...Come on Roger
barrystar - April 17, 2007 02:04 PM (GMT)
Seppi beat off several BP's that last game. The normal procedure is for Fed to canter through his service game and continue racking the exhausted server. Let's see if that is what happens.

Let me see who roger faces next, I think It may be a steamroll for the person responsible for the most revolting stamp ever.

Im going to agree with Serenaw19 here. And for the record if he was playing his best tennis the scoreline would not be 5-5...He needs to wake up he is playing carp this year!

Dark_Necrofear - April 17, 2007 02:18 PM (GMT)
I must say that Im not too impressed with someone who says they have been practicing so long for the clay season and he goes to a tiebreak 1 set!
Im not even going to say lets hope it gets better coz I hoped at Miami and it got worse!

He does not look the best ATM. :yikes:
His style - being closer to the baseline than Gasquet for instance - is much nicer to watch but yet, he is struggling as much as the youngster.

Monte Carlo Masters - 2nd Round - Men
R.Federer 66 - - - -
A.Seppi 46 - - - -
Federer R. - Seppi A. 6-6 Seppi does the business and takes the game - he really is moving around the court well to and giving Federer a real game here.
Yes, you're right-Roger does deserve criticism when warranted. Waiting for him to wake up here...

Tenez it is normal he is RUSTY...Give us a couple of matches to weak up fully...I mean he is a great man but we cannot ask him to be always at the top right :)

think my board froze. Not impressive stuff from Fed, he needs to pick up pace and soon...
barrystar - April 17, 2007 02:22 PM (GMT)
