http://imdb.com/news/wenn/2007-04-16/#2I enjoyed the first two and I like Rachel in whatever films she does, so it's a shame to hear she can't make this one :(

Must say not a fan of those films. One was more of an action adventure than a horror. I dotn; see any reason to make a thrid, I mean what is the mummy gonna do next? remove his bandages? roflmao
I liek the old horros where the mummy creeps about in a spooky fashion like a zombie. I knwo it isnt; scary today, but they are quite atmospheric. I have a feelign legend Boris Karloff might be in one or two.

I enjoyed the original a lot - the second is decent but it seemed more concerned with it's set pieces & looking flashy than telling a decent story (happens quite a lot when the first film of a series is more successful than expected and the producers get given a ton more money for the sequel)
Can't see it being as fun without the interplay between Weisz & Fraser.

as long as eye candy Fraser is in it, i will be watching it ;)

Yeah I think the films will definitely miss the chemistry of Weisz and Fraser. It will be a shame.
I agree with SB I don't really know what they're going to do with this one. It will be interesting though, I hope. As long as it doesn't go the way of some hollywood trilogies :yikes: (i.e. scraping the bottom of the barrell by the third)

I don't know whether there could be anything left at all in the barrel after the second one. I am not a fan and Weisz is well out in my view

I thought that she was great in the Constant Gardener..
She had a really bad rep for being as snooty as they come when she was at Cambridge though..

Yeah like the absolutely dire Terminator 3. One was great, 2 was bigger and better in many ways but clever as it adedd humour and a surprise slant in the story. 3 was just utter garbage. Like some cheap rate low budget pilot. Geroge thought the femlae villan was Tamsin Outhwiate off Eastenders! roflmao

Rachael Weiz is a good actress, but i find her a bit bland sometimes, for example in About a Boy...... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz roflmao
She defintely needs bigger roles IMO, than the generic Brit-chick role she always plays.
