Oh dear that is a shame. I imagined you out and about at the weekend with your mates crammed in the back, roof down and hair blowing in the breeze. Hope that License comes through quickly :D

Well done Jack :D

Now you can learn to drive

:ok:

Wise_Analyst - April 13, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
Jack, you don't actually have to wait for your license to come through before you can legally drive. Once you've passed your test, you're adjudged to have a license whether it's been processed yet or not.

As for the car, I would lend you mine until my ban ends, but I can just about remember how I drove straight after I'd passed :yikes:

Depressing :( or roflmao

yorkshire - April 14, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
I passed in 2004, at the second attempt.

If you want a reliable car, go Toyota. My car's ten years old and I've not had a single problem with it in the three years I've owned it. Started first time every time (tempting fate, bet it won't start next time I try :P)

jack.hl.ng - April 14, 2007 06:24 PM (GMT)
heehee yorshire :P

what sort of toyota is it?

i passed second atempt, i got 3 majors and 10 minors in my first test, then i changed instructors, to one that could actually teach me to pass, then i get 4 ;)

yorkshire - April 14, 2007 07:28 PM (GMT)
Toyota Starlet - similar to this one

user posted image

- but mine's a nicer colour :P

I read somewhere once that driving examiners have to fail a certain quota each day. Say if you had a day of 10 perfect drivers taking tests, a certain number - maybe 2 or 3 - would have to be failed - maybe it's a way of the company making money forcing people to have retests.

jack.hl.ng - April 14, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
yeah i heard that too...
though during my first test, really wasnt a perfect driver... i shouldnt of been on the road :P

oo never seen that car before, i was thinking u would have a toyota yaris or something...

im looking for a Peugeot 106/306 me thinks ^^

Wise_Analyst - April 14, 2007 09:51 PM (GMT)
idiot.,

Big Al - April 14, 2007 10:03 PM (GMT)

9 tests!

good grief!

i had three, failed on the first two for going too fast on the Leeds ring road in a 40 mph zone at excatley the same part

i remember being really nervous on the first two, actually, really really nervous!!

but on the third I was more relaxed and passed it easily

my first car wasn't mine, it was my mother Audi A3 which someone crashed into and then I got a nice Golf which was wrote off in Wakefield and then I downgraded to a peugeot for a few weeks before getting a Focus and then getting a Focus ST

which rules

passing your driving test kicks arse, freedom at last!!
