I've once posted on this board i expect Murray to be the biggest threat of all the young guns for Federer. I still do, but that doesn't mean i totally despise the way he acts now and then. Today he really exceeded himself in this department.
It started right after he missed 3 BP early in the first set (shouting things like "say something!" to Gilbert) and he kept on moaning, swearing, raging throughout the whole match. it was outrageous. At some point i felt a bit sorry for Gilbert (although he earns a few bucks) and i expected him to walk away, at least; that's what he should have done. Dutch commentator and former prof. tennis player Jan Siemerink said he never witnessed something like this before.
Yes, it was that bad. :yikes:
Djoko did happily enough the best thing to do in a situation like this; serving this spoiled kid a humiliation. It was good to see Djoko even celebrated a few points at the end of the match, with this he said to the audience something like "look guys, i do care.."
