Serena is through in 3 and 4, and we'll get a rematch of the AO final less than two months on. I have to say it looks like Serena will get the better of Sharapova again, but it will probably be much more competitive this time round as the Russian will likely have gained in confidence after her battling win over Venus.

Watching on Eurosport, Serena had at least two chats to the umpire in the second set about getting rid of someone in the crowd who was bugging her - I didn't catch it really but there was a suggestion about light being deliberately being reflected in her eyes - or maybe just verbal. Anyway, then she served the match out to love. :shrug:
