Title: England v. Paraguay

I see England got a little help with an own-goal from Paraguay.

Yes, it was an own-goal, but it was a terrific free kick by Beckham and the defender got a slight deflection on the ball...it looked like it was going in anyway.

True. I wasn't watching, but saw a replay of it. Well done to England.

The Ref was a strange one, one Paraguayan geezer clothes lined an England player, Ref waved play on.

England got the win, but i think Sven confused ppl yet again, takw Walcott and not use him, take owen off as a "tactical" sub, not sure at all.

:)

Pile of crap England are! Hardly a convincing victory was it? the onyl positve thing about that match is that I was just abotu to place a bet for a draw, when the markey was suspended! That is cos of the Paraguay error, so I save a few quid! But really it sounds like it should have been a draw.

Well Eng must be more agressive to progress in this Cup, and as usually they are not. what the hell is that Sven paid for? I mean, come on he needs to kick some ass and shape that team up. If only Brian Clough had had a chance at managing England, if only!

Btw I don't care for footie, but I do get wound up with England! roflmao

Not decrying you SB, I see what you mean! :D

But at the end of the day we won, we got 3 points. You can't win the world cup in the group stages anyway, and there is a big possibility that if we beat Trinidad on thursday we will not only have qualified but will have won the group, as I reckon a draw could be likely between Sweden and Paraguay.

Maybe then Mr roooooooooooooooney could have a runout in the last match with the Swedes, or even 'ickle Theo!
