2 saturdays on the trot is nothing. Go out if you can afford it

Murraynator - March 23, 2007 07:12 PM (GMT)
I am getting closer and closer to going out. :)

barrystar - March 23, 2007 07:13 PM (GMT)
Yeah - you want to start drawing the line at 4 nights in a row, not 2 saturdays.

SuperBRAT - March 23, 2007 07:53 PM (GMT)

I'm big on cookign when I do cook, as in make a real effort but I dont; cook from scratch every night. I MUSt have my Indian and a Chinese weekly. Last year I discovered the delights of one pot meals like stews and soups, and I love making them from fresh and cooking them for hours slowly. :D .

last weekend when my bessie mate came down, i wanted food that I coudl just stick in the oven quick like pizzas, puddings and stuff. I got it all at M&S friday and every tiem I served something, we said 'this is NOt just food, this is M&S food' and made up loads of OTT superlatives to describe ti when we were drunk" roflmao

Nick Havoc - March 23, 2007 09:12 PM (GMT)
I cook a bit, but it's usually simple stuff during the week. Might get a little more adventurous with cooking on the weekends, if I have time.

I must admit though, I have been doing a bit of food shopping there recently so the ads must work as never used to shop there. Really nice food too.

Yeah - well done on going out in the end.

For all my talk we stayed in and had two pigeons we got in the market with parsnip pure and purple-sprouting brocoli washed down with a good bottle of red wine (a '98 Moulis we had bought on the cheap in a French supermarket). Dinner was excellent - I love winter vegetables and strong meat - but not like a good night out.
