At the World Cup, it's Thierry Henry...

Overall, it's Shay Given...

Ireland not qualified? Shame, a solid performance it was in 2002...

No :(

I know, 2002 was great, a penalty shoot-out away from the quarters

Atleast they're not in the USA's group, they're going to be a force this World Cup ;)

My favourite player was Zidane, absolute genius, but he is past it now it has to be said...

One huy to look out for is Luca Toni, scores goals galore!

Hiromiku - June 10, 2006 03:28 PM (GMT)
Schweinsteiger, a disgrace to football

Ooh too many to name....

Henry (of course!), RObin VAn Persie, kolo ...Fabregas....(hey i could name the whole arsenal team if you want) but after them Gerrard and Becks when playing for England (say what you like about him but he has one hell of a mean cross) and luis figo...

but in terms of all time (of players that ive personally watched) Dennis "the non-flying dutchman" Bergkamp is a shoo in for me!!

I agree with sam - luca toni could be awesome he scored like 33 league goals this season or something...

or he could be a major flop

I dont like football, but i have to say Henry

sir matchstickmen - June 12, 2006 08:07 AM (GMT)
Henry is amazing, his pace and confidence are quite something else! And he's always got that cheeky look on his face no matter what!

Arjen Robben was brilliant yesterday too, the Serbs hadn't a clue what to do with him :S
