Don't quite get the scholar bit, petalp - or is it a question of it takes one to know one :rolleyes:
He seems a genuine nice guy (regardless of his charity work or ball kids caring etc..). A killer inside probably but a sweet killer.
It really looks like he could not care less about his early loss. I am curious to see how he's going to approach Miami...a slower surface with high bounces, a kind of warm up to the clay season.

Ah! Well, I used it as an overall expression for just being generally a diamond geezer, rather than academic leanings!! It has a rather quaint feel to it, like something from a Jane Austen book or a Merchant Ivory film.
'Why thank you sir, you're a scholar and a gent!!'.. that type of thing.. ;)
