Title: Murray vs Moodie
Dinky Jo - March 11, 2007 08:09 PM (GMT)
1-0 to Andy so far
I'm only following live scores tho, so can't give live commentary
SaraLess - March 11, 2007 08:13 PM (GMT)
Yes, same here. Anyone watching Murray?
I wouldn't have thought he'd have too much trouble here...but this tournament has thrown in a few surprises...

yeah, like Nalby being broken twice by Kohlschreiber  4-0 in that game!!!!
Wise_Analyst - March 11, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
Am glancing at the Murray match. Moodie serving well so far, and looked like he might get a break in the last game, but Murray upped the ante. The Scot might get taken to a tie-break, but will still win routinely.
Edit: While I was typing that, Murray broke  3-1
chetanpv - March 11, 2007 08:23 PM (GMT)
On a side note, Berdych lost too..
Its a cakewalk for Nadal to the semis at least uptil Roddick :D
SaraLess - March 11, 2007 08:28 PM (GMT)
Yes, was shocked by Nalbandian...but was really surprised by Berdych. Still, this bodes well for a Rafa rampage!!
Ljubicic was wobbling, too. That I wasn't so surprised about. :D
Still, certainly making IW really quite gripping!
4-1 to Murray...he must be powering through now?
Dinky Jo - March 11, 2007 08:32 PM (GMT)
5-1 to Murray
Tursunov just lost the first set to Korolev *sulks*
Kohlschreiber won the first set 6-1

That annoyed me; it's not often I get to shout about anything a compatriot does at tennis, but Falla beat Becker in the last round and was looking good against Ivan 'Weak Era Proof' Ljubicic... then collapsed.
Moodie saved two break points a while back with some good serving, I dunno what happened after that but it's 5-3 now, Murray about to serve for first set.
Dinky Jo - March 11, 2007 08:39 PM (GMT)
first set to Murray - 6-3 :D

SaraLess - March 11, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
I actually thought Ljubicic was on course to lose that match, he's got a crisis of confidence and if he doesn't recapture some microscopic element of form, he's going to be sliding out of the top 20 so quickly he'll be closer to Boggo than Federer. He's not got the tools, he needs the form.
Anyway...first set to Murray-no big surprise there...is he set to meet Federer in the semis?
Dinky Jo - March 11, 2007 08:57 PM (GMT)
has anyobody else's scoreboard frozen???
SaraLess - March 11, 2007 08:57 PM (GMT)
Yes, mine has-did last set too. Annoying!
Wise_Analyst - March 11, 2007 09:00 PM (GMT)
Is 2-2, Moodie serving.
And Sara, Murray's projected semi-final opponent is Canas or Hewitt ;)

Murray leading 4-2 in 2nd set - Moodie serving now :)
Wise_Analyst - March 11, 2007 09:05 PM (GMT)
Inspired by the prospect of playing Canas in the semis, :P Murray breaks to take a 4-2 lead. This one's over.
chetanpv - March 11, 2007 09:06 PM (GMT)
I'm really looking forward to Federer match against Canas.
The south american has already beaten him once.

Evening chet. Same here, I'm trying to get all my work out the way before that one starts so I can sit back and enjoy it. Mathieu and Fish in a third set tie-break as we speak, so it should start after the Sharapova match. Am going for Canas in 3.

Evening Wise.
The same here. Its late afternoon but getting my chores complete for the coming week so can settle down for the Canas match.
I think Sharapova is already on the court. Hope either she loses or wins fast and we can get to see the genius of Canas ;)

Is that with steroids?
SaraLess - March 11, 2007 09:17 PM (GMT)
So, Murray through...he can start preparing for the Canas caning now :D
Wise, Chet: I feel it will be Federer in 2. I'll happily consume humble pie if incorrect.
Dinky Jo - March 11, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
http://www.eurosport.co.uk/tennis/indian-w...efullpage.shtmlThis appears to be up-to-date!!! :) although doesn't show points, simply games......
Wise_Analyst - March 11, 2007 09:31 PM (GMT)
I've just put your pie in the oven Sara. I don't think Canas will win too quickly though - I expect him to get off to a slow start, and the rallies will probably be quite long, so it should be nice and fresh for you to consume by the time he completes his victory :D
Gonzo just kicking off against Dancevic - should be a comfortable victory for the choking Chilean.
SerenaW19 - March 11, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
Good win for Murray
