Title: Federwocky
Description: a.k.a. A Wise Analyst's Dream
Nick Havoc - March 9, 2007 02:04 AM (GMT)
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Federwock, my son!
The serves that bite, the lobs that catch!
Beware the Ljubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Nalbandersnatch!"
He took his Babolat in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And scratched his bum in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Federwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
Six, one! Six, two! And through and through
The Babolat went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Federwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Well, I guess I only amused myself, with my little adaptation of Jabberwocky. At least Rafa has done a good job avoiding that frumious Nalbandersnatch . . .

You're either insane or you have gone down with a bout of Bagelian Federitis. ;)

Great one, Nick!
I have a suggestion:
Why don't we propose which players we think mostly resemble characters from Alice in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass?
Roger Federer - Cheshire Cat: moves like a cat and has the same mysterious grin
Daniela Hantuchova - Alice: apart from the blond hair, has changed size on a few occasions
Rafael Nadal - Mad Hatter: moves around frantically and it takes a long time before you get some service
Bryans: Tweedledee and Tweedledum: too easy
I'll leave it to someone else who should be the Queen of Hearts, don't want to open Pandora's Box.

Since when does Safin need to *steal* tarts ?? Tarts start shedding their wrappings as soon as he walks into the shop.

Haha :D
I only just saw this too...though, don't think Federwocky needs to beware of the Ljubljub just yet !!

great poem, Nick.
I'm never good at assignements but we need (as major characters in the 2 books):
1. White Rabbit - running around with the clock saying I'm late
2. The Caterpillar -
3. The March Hare (goes with the Mad Hatter)
4. Mock Turtle
5. The Walrus & The Carpenter (even though they are only in a poem)
7. Humpty Dumpty
8. The Dodo
9. King of Hearts
