Thanks fo rsayign you liked my film Pebs - what do this lot know slagging off An, I mean it is considered oen of the greatest movies of all time! If the helicopter scene with Ride of the Valkeries don't qulaify as one of the greatest cinematic scenes what does? :shrug: Very piognanat film methinks. :)

Pebs - i have yet to see Saw but I'm ssure it's great being a horror films fan. I never used any for this though cos I thought you might . :)

Yep :) I don't think it is meant to be enjoyed as such, like our MGM musicals. I woudl tno say I enjoy it as such, who would? Iit's a powerful and haunting piece of anti-war cinema though, and the cinematography and direction are really great. It must have won ans Socar for summat somehwere, but nto best picture I dont; think. Oh and some old actor Marlon Brando was in it ;)

Tbh Mo if I picked the faves of mine that I watch over and over again no one would be very impressed. roflmao Does anyone like JAson and the Argonauts 1960s myths based adventure for eg? I doubt it! roflmao

oh I know hun. I watched AN after reading The Heart of Darkness and I think the film captured the book perfectly.

Certainly one to watch.

You should give Saw a go lovey. Its not horror in the sense of nasty creatures coming to suck your blood type of thing, but the idea behind it is an interesting one and its cleverly done on a small budget. I think the sequels went for a bit too much in the blood and gore department - though I like them both - but Saw is definitely the best of the lot.
