JHH played great. Waht a dissappojnting match though, hardly a close fought classic. Woudl have expected better form Kim given how peoepl keep tellign me sh eis great, but I have never rated her game and predicted a slaughtering anyway.

Once Clijsters doubted her self just one bit, it didnt take long for the errors to start emerging. It was just not patient enough from Clijsters, bad tactical decisions in trying to finish the points too early. Justine however played such a well-measured match. She hit with depth and had plenty of margin for error, and serve impeccably. Where Kim went wrong, Justine went strength to strength. A well deserved win for the defending champion :ok:

Cant really see how Svetlana could repel this kind of fire-power in the final though....

I just hope nothing happens to make Justine retire from the final. The vultures were all over her after the AO fiasco. It was awful. :yikes:

Another great performance by Justine :ok:

But Kim was so impatient out there! I know Justine was defending incredibly well, but Kim was just thwacking the ball early in the rally, going for a winner, and missing more often than not. She looked quite flat in the 2nd set, and her game began to disintegrate.

It was certainly an anticlimax after the build-up, though I feared this would happen - Justine was excellent for most of the last 2 rounds, whereas Kim seemed to stutter through (ok, they were comfortable scorelines, but I didn't feel she was playing consistent tennis).

Anyway, good luck to Justine in the final! Allez! :bigwave:
