It was definitely looking obscured, but not so red!!

Will pop out again for a closer look :)

just taken the Lexhund out for a walk with Mrs Lex and the moon is a red shadowy ball

Yip.. just back from a wander!!

Took my super duper zoom lens with my camera.. doubled also as binoculars!! :lol:

Took some pics.. the moon looks like an orange in them!!! :D

Didnj't have a tripod with me, so was difficult to get a good focus.. but "borrowed" the roof of the odd car or two, had a semi decent result ;)

Loads of students around, wondering what the hell I was doing, running around with my camera! I did mention the eclipse to one of them, but he shrugged his shoulders and walked on!! Obviously had a party to go to or something.. ;)

Just rechecking my pics... one of them does look pretty good ...well, there's only the one moon on it rather than several with teh slow shutter speed..!! nowhere near as good as the ones that will be on the news of course.. :)
