Can see that causing much trouble on beeb - interesting move by them.

Be glad to have you posting on here with scores. You might want to put a thread up on the beeb before each match too.

Nice to have you around more Ark!

Sounds good, ark. I think this board is going along pretty well, but sometimes it's mostly just social and the tennis talk is slow. This might help.

(And don't worry, Heyupp-ers and CCBB-ers. I'm fine with the social type threads; just looking for more tennis discussion in addition. :D )

I think that it's a great idea. Thanks for volunteering! It will help garner traffic!

Not too keen on the live scoring myself but I like the match reports . But some will like it I'm sure

Live scoring is great if I'm not watching the match. I like when someone else is watching, and they can comment on how the players are playing.

Is it not better to follow the live scoring on the website though. It can get o bit bogged down on the BBC with 10's of people saying exactly the same thing . Then we have the pages and pages of the same thing also.

It's certainly more up to date on the tourney website, but you don't get the feedback, or comments on how they're playing. Stats alone can sometimes mislead.

Yeah. I agree partly with both of you. It's tedious when you have four of five different people trying to be the first to post the latest point score. But often it's an interesting way to follow the match, with some commentary on how the players are playing.
