4 of the top 10 including 2 of the top 5 is actually pretty good for a Tier II - especially a low profile one such as this.
Outside of that though the field isn't anything special. Depending on Jelena's injury i'd be very surprised if the semi finals involved anyone other than the top 4 seeds.

Besides he does have a point, unless Jankovic is still badly injured then there really aren't any upsets in the making here. And that is pretty unusual for a tier two. Although to be fair the top four players make a semi final line up that would be worthy of a tier one.

Yes but having plenty of upsets in a tournament isn't necessarily a sign the tournament will be good! :ok:
At the end of the day, if there are good quality tennis matches that's the main thing and if the top 4 seeds get through to the semis we should have some good tennis there at least.
And for me any tournament where The Cheat :devil: isn't playing has to be a good one! roflmao
