It will have to be one or the other I am afraid as I wanted to get this done now as I'm not gonna get much time until May to change it again for the French.... so the poll is above

Have a nosey here, see what you think of the new colour scheme. I figured that the grass is more for Wimbledon. I think if we have these standard colours and one standard new banner, (yet to be done) then they can always be there apart from the slams. So the board would get new slam themed skins and then it can just be reverted back to this standard one in between. I also then don't have to do new banners/look etc after each slam.

This is in the very early stages and buttons etc and some screens still need changing but I think I like the green/blue scheme as standard.

i dont mind the grassy-ness. Im not so keen on the new colour-scheme its a bit harsh! but you're doing a good job, so i'll let the others decide. :hug:

I just feel the grass is better left for Wimbledon, plus I fell these colours aren't strong enough.
If the general feeling is it is too strong (I did wonder myself) then I shall look at something else. Although I will say it grew on me quite fast. ;)

I prefer the grass, but it might be better left until Queens, as it doesn't really make sense most of the year :lol:

yeah, i take your point about wimbledon and the grassyness. p.s. if SW19's getting serena in the banner... can i get ivo in it (just for one day!!!!) :D

I really like the new look, so I wouldn't mind a change at all, that would kind of suit Indian Wells and Miami actually, so I'd support a change :ok:

I like it as it is. The new colours are very harsh on the eye, I can't seem to tone themdown on my crappy old PC.

I think it's marvellous

SB, how about a grey background like the one on there now to tone it down? I think it was maybe the strong whitebackground against the bold colours that caused it to appear too harsh?

Its a good idea to keep changing the skin for the current tournaments. The green should be for the grass court season IMHO .

It looks better but it's nto a question of the colour, it's the strenght of it. It is still quite bright IMO. I agree you should change them to suit the seasons, I just like a calm screen cos I get eye strain easy. :)

The demo is great, change the look any time!

Ok, well. It seems to be favourable to change. I shall have it done by Sunday I think.. it will be tweaked too so it should look better than the demo version.. SB, I will try and do something to calm it down and make it a bit more harmonious...

Thanks Triscy :D I love the blue colour, but it really screams out from my screen. Imagine the current grren if it were that flurescent lime green colour and it would be similar. Sorry to moan but I have trouble with my eyes and light sensitivity/bright things. My PC is already on it's most dim setting. :) It's nto quite sunglasses time yet :D B)
