Title: Top gear space mission!

POSCARS HOST - February 19, 2007 11:45 AM (GMT)
Did anyone see this last night on top gear?

They tried to send a rocket up with a robin reliant "shuttle" on the back! roflmao

The launch went ok, and the initial rockets fell away as planned, but then the rocket suddenly overbalanced and went flying back down to earth, causing the most enourmous explosion!

I thought it was funny anyway - not sure the people of Northumberland agree! roflmao

I didnt; see that one, but I saw the one where they did a 'fly drive' in the USA. They tried to see if it was possibel and cheaper to buy a car and drive it and dump it rather than hire one. it was hilarious cos they kept needign jump leads for one of them. They air con was knackered in two cars and as Clarkson and Hammond were so fed up with the other guys air con working, the swines trashed his! roflmao

What was disturbign though was when they went to Alabama. They producers for a laugh told them to paint things on each others' cars that woudl make them stand out. One had pink stripes and "Man Love Rules", one had 'Hilary for president". I know this would cause a stir but they pulled into this petrol station and this woman walks up and has a right go, saying they should not do this in a 'Hick Town"! She woudln't drop it though, the cow actually decided to cause trouble by calling 'the boys' and this car load of rednecks arrived and started pelting rocks at the cars and also the camera crew. :o At which point they did the quickest jump start of all! roflmao I know they were being provactive but calling in 'the boys' and starting violence did kinda put you off going there. It was very entertaining as a programme though.

Dont' you like Clarkson then? I find him quite entertaining - he doesnt; hold back for sure. Made me laugh at the end when he said what they'd learnt from the trip -don't go the the USA! roflmao He is scathing but quite witty with it.

There is a wit about him SB, and a fun side - I thought he was ace a few weeks ago when they built that main road! (70 orders of fish and chips!)

The thing I can't stand about him is his voice - he always seems really patronising with it, and speaks at a ridiculous tone all of the time. It's mostly in adverts he's done over the years that i've really wanted to swing at the bloke.

I like Richard Hammond, and that was before the crash! He really is like a hamster, especially his eyes roflmao

Yes I know what you mean about Clarkson's voice. If he wound me up I'd swing for him too! roflmao

I think the other thing with Clarkson, in fairness, is that he is nuts about the cars, a huge enthusiast, and I can't say I am one to rave about cars that much, so maybe that's why he irritates me roflmao
