Although I subscribed here last August, I've hardly posted at all on here. I've spent a lot of time on the BBC 606 boards. Can't stand them, as I thought the threads would be ranked according to how highly they are graded by other contributors. One star for the stupid threads (and those of us who were on the old tennis board on Five Live know who the usual suspects are there) should mean the thread will go to the bottom of the list, but it doesn't. Of course, it does have the advantage that the composer of the thread can delete messages.
However, I gather that the beauty of this MB is that the most ridiculous WUMs are made to behave themselves, which must mean we get reasonably good debate, so here goes!

Hope you find the board fun and welcoming, I'm sure you will. People do seem to have great debates here without going overboard. Well, should I say MOST do.. lol
I ain't giving any names!
I think people who had a bit of a rep on the BBC do post here in probably their more normal persona. Which is great as it encourages good conversations. It is a clean slate on here.

It does, but this is what I used to be known as on the old BBC tennis board until September, when I changed my ID as per my signature.

Actually you both support teams in crisis at the moment - I wonder when we will hear the truth of the QPR players scrap with the chinese team? The pictures looked terrible!

To OBL!V!ON. Nothing that happens tonight can hurt me, and I do expect defeat. The real agony happened a couple of weeks ago at the KC Stadium. Conceding four goals in the last 20 minutes at Roots Hall was a cakewalk in comparison.
Meanwhile Plymouth (under Olly's management) have reached the FA Cup QF........
