Another heartbreaking loss for Amelie, but you've got to hand it to Nicole - she played extremely well, particularly on serve and with her forehand, and remained calm in front of the Parisien crowd.

Ironic really how Mauresmo comes in to RG with her best ever shot at the title and then promptly plays one of the worst matches of her life. It sounds harsh, but that is by far the worst i have seen mauresmo play in a Grand Slam. Such a shame really, but she ran into too formidable an opponent today.

Mauresmo's forehand and backhand slice deserted her...

Has Nastya-JH-H been postponed?

I know dl :( horrible just horrible. the backhand was awol plus some very bad tactical decisions at the net- so unlike her.
