What do you all think of peer pressure? My friend and I caught the bus into the city the other day, and we saw some school kids, probably about Year 10 by the looks of them, all smoking, thinking it was really cool. I finished school back in 2000, and it wasn\'t similar to that back in those late 90 days.

Whenever I went out with friends though, sure there were the kids that thought they were being cool in smoking, drinking and doing drugs, but they were definitely in the minority.

These days, it seems, though, that it is impossible for kids to say no, because they\'ll seem \"uncool\" if they don\'t take alcohol and smoke cigarettes. The youth of today are succumbing to the idiots who think it\'s \"cool to be a fool\", and I\'m really concerned. These idiots sadly seem to be the majority nowadays.

I always mock the kids who smoke. They always stink even if they have a chewing gum in their mouth. I always remark the awful smell although the kids don\'t react.

And I know what you mean by that \"uncool\" story SF, but I really don\'t care what other kids think. People already hate me, so what\'s the point of being like them? They always get p!ssed when I talk about their pointless spendings...But I must admit, I do get caught by peer pressure, although I don\'t go to far. I try not to dress too badly although I\'m not overly fashionable.

10 years old you say? Gosh, I must admit, that is shocking. It\'s only since last year when we were 12 that I first heard about my classmates drinking!

Not to mention creating umpteen threads about non-smoking. With all the stress assocatied with the repeated posts about the same things I reckon said poster must be on about 20-30 a day themselves. ;)

You'd have thought it would save SF a lot of time if she just combined her "Hello I am new" posts together with her "I am leaving now" posts and her "Smoking is bad" posts in one huge post. And you could probably add her "Jesus will save you/Daily Prayer" posts in with that as well....
