Sorry but Ivanovic will be a breeze for JHH. Hope I'm wrong tho but on current form Myskina won't be much more of an opponent.

Whereas Hingis has to contend with Dementieva and Clijsters before even possibly thinking about JHH.

i hope Myskina can re-find her form, all she has to do is win a few matches here and shes back in the top 10

Who'd you go for if it was a Myskina Hingis Quarter WB?

Has to be Hingis all the way surely?

welshboy91 - June 1, 2006 09:32 AM (GMT)
Hingis V Myskina

Head: Hingis
Heart: Myskina

Yeah well Hingis is lower ranked so of course her route is going to be tougher - though Dementieva on clay isn't much more of a challenge than Myskina or Ivanovic (If she is more of a challenge at all)

Plus she won't be meeting Clijsters to the QF's - it's hardly Henin's fault that Petrova got injured otherwise her draw would be just as tricky.

JuJu is so good in clay that the others look average in comparison. Ivanovic just won her match easily. I think Juju will eat her alive should she make it to the quarters. She's not a particulartly good mover though she has improved a lot and is very erratic.

GS I don't agree about Elena, she's good on clay. And she did beat hingis in tokyo, allright she got busted in berlin but still!

I agree Henin is the clear favourite against Myskina or Ivanovic in the 4th round but it's still not that easy a match.

Sorry I don't rate Elena on clay (well on red clay anyway - on green clay she's more of a threat but then that's a lot closer to hard court her best surface by far). Her record at Berlin & Rome is terrible & she's only made it past the 4th round of RG once (ok that year she reached the final but she beat Davenport who is also weak on red clay, Mauresmo who anyone can beat at RG & Suarez). Hingis should have no problems against her, in fact I think she's in danger of an upset against Peer in the 3rd round.

we'll have to wait and see! i'm no good at predictions anyway!

Yes she did and she won another tournament on clay recently. To be fair to Elena she could do well - she just seems to be even more inconsistent on clay then she is on other surfaces - which is really saying something!

yes, pity isn't it? I like her game when she's on. Seems to shine only when she's playing for mother russia! :D
I admire her really. anybody else with such serve would have quit by now!

Kutuzova serves for the bagel against Dementieva in the first set!!! :o But gets broken. 5-1 now.
