Title: How many more titles will Serena win in 2007?
Description: Grand Slams and WTA Events

Im curious to people's initial gut reactions on this one. In order to answer this poll, it also begs the question, will Serena play and remain dedicated for the rest of the year (and remain injuty free )?
If the answer is more or less affirmative (and Serena has said she plans to play a full schedule), then how many titles do you think she will win, Tour and Grand Slam Level, and moreover which ones?
I think (hope) she will win another slam, preferably Wimbledon or FO, and perhaps Miami, a tournie coming up in the next 8 weeks: like Bangalore for example and then possibly a US hardcourt tournament like L.A, and IF she should qualify then she always does well at the YECs. So Im saying she will win five more.
However if she wants to get back to number one then she will undoubtedly have to play more...
(I don't know if a mod or someone can edit it for me but the final choice was supposed to be 6/7 + :lol:_

I'd say 5, especially in the Us hardcourt season, titles galore for Serena :D

I voted '67+', I assume you meant '6,7+' :D
I really think that if Serena applies herself, and it seems like she will judging by her play in Melbourne and her interviews, that she can win the Slam this year :)

Do you mean all 4? Yep the though had crossed my mind, I can't see it but I would be very happy if she did :D
I just hope she has a really good season and gets the Grand Slam count into double figures soon. I think she wants an Olympic Gold, as she's never had the opportunity to play singles before. So I think this season is a big build up to that for her :D

I said 3 because I feel cautious about predicting a lot for Serena 'the part time Champion' (The name the Observer gave her not me). Remember 2005? She won the Australian and then had a pretty barren season. It all depends on her commitment....then again if she plays Bangalore like she intended to then she will have at least one more title (defending champion being Santangelo who she trashed in the 1st round of the AO)

Ye thats why Im more cautious too. Such a great starts to 2005 then all downhill. But to be fair she did get quite a few injuries that season, and that was when she begun a lot of her T.V work and she just seemed to get side tracked and really was part time. I think she needed 2005 and 2006 away from the game to increase her love for it if you know what I mean. It was also good (and needed) for her body to have the rest.
Im hoping Serena is now back to her hard working 10 tournaments a year self roflmao
