I don't mind the one-man shows. I did not see it unfortunately but I am sure I would have got for todays semi.

I only saw featured matches on the BBC, which from that lot was Nadal v Murray, Roddick v Safin. Wouldnt; have minded seeing Grosjean . I voted Nadal v Murray as it was a great match and it would be hard to beat.

I know I havn't been around for months! Was a fab match, made me late for work but well worth it! Had to show my face to give him a mention, seems to be sneaking through very very quietly!

The Oz Open does it again - every year there's great tennis.
Perhaps this year the women's competition was quite a bit below par as I really didn't pay that much attention to it - but the men's competition has been sensational.
I thought that the final was of a very high standard - but even that was overshadowed by some great matches from Murray (I find his unorthodox style of play very watchable and entertaining), and some fantastic matches from Gonzalez.
The best two matches though, were the semi-finals. I know - not everyone's cup of tea as they were about as uncompetitive as men's singles matches can get - but for me the standard of play from Gonzalez and Federer was absolutely phenomenal ... :bow:
