vs. Stephanie Cohen-Aloro (FRA)

How did this get onto Court 1?! roflmao

(Yes, I know one of them is French, but still...)

The Dav - May 28, 2006 03:32 PM (GMT)
I've gotta say, I don't like the way the first round has been stretched out, usually there's so many different results to discuss, but today has been pretty dull

LDF - May 28, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
I agree...it's the same as the US Open. I definitely prefer the Wimbledon system...

Only for the men at the US Open though I think

Anyway, congrats to MoMo

Yep, getting past a tricky opponent in straight sets

The Dav - May 29, 2006 04:20 PM (GMT)
Schnyder, Clijsters and Molik all through today...

Venus now 6-4 4-2 up on Bammer and Dementieva 7-6 3-0 up against Sucha...

dl04 - May 29, 2006 04:40 PM (GMT)
Dementieva really not going through as comfortably as i thought she would today. Sucha is capable of hitting some nice shots, but she is below the top 50 and is struggling for confidence after a thin couple of years, but obviously playing a bit better today.

Glad veus won though! :yahoo:

Well it is Dementieva dl roflmao

No matter what the opponent's rank, she'll find a way to struggle...

Hey guys, just here for a quick visit from Bournemouth :D

Good to see the top seeds moving through...

The Dav - May 29, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
Hey LDF! How's Bournemouth?

Hey LDF! How's Bournemouth?

It's really nice actually - it's been sunny and warm, so we went down to the beach (not swimming though. It's great, it's a sandy beach (much better than the rocky beaches near me). :D

I'm at a friend's house as we speak...

I see Hiro's been causing trouble with BB (I've just done my vote, by the way)...

Yep, there's been a fair bit of controversy, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, but I did catch both Hiromiku and JTH on-line at once which proves that he can have two identites on at the same time...

Bournemoth sounds great :D Anyway, I'm off to see the real BB, catch you again :)

SuperBRAT - May 30, 2006 12:44 PM (GMT)
