Title: Justine Henin to return in Paris
LDF - January 23, 2007 09:23 PM (GMT)
Hello Everyone,
As I promised you, I return with some news. The last few weeks were difficult for me and my team. First I must announce to you that Pierre-Yves and I have decided to separate; the reasons are personal. I request of you to respect my privacy.
I want to particulary thank you for the great many messages of support sent during these last few weeks - it really touched me.
On the tennis side of things, I have begun training again. I also have slightly altered my schedule. I will play at the Open Gaz De France in early February. It's not far from my home, and it's always pleasant for me to be in Paris. This will be my first tournament for the season. I hope to find my form, and as usual will give all of myself. I'm looking forward to once again giving you exiciting emotions.
Still thanking you for all the support.
Be with you soon,
Justine

Hopefully she'll come back just as strong though and win some big titles! :D

Poor Justine :o :(
Will she be the same on her return?
liam_valid - January 23, 2007 09:28 PM (GMT)
Surely she will put all herself into training now and come back as a big force. I hope she gets to play Serena

Fair enough my heart goes out to her, through her divorce!
But still don't like her!
Paris should be a good tournament!

I thought maybe someone in her family was sick or something, then I remembered that she hated her family, so I was confused by her not playing in Australia...now I see. :( Poor Justine, I hope she comes out of this stronger than she was before....and plus I always thought Pierre-Yves was a bit camp :P
ObL!v!0N - January 23, 2007 09:35 PM (GMT)
tbh, I thought she would go downhill this year, before she pulled out of the ao, but now I have this feeling she'll come back even stronger.
Best of luck to her for this year, and her off-court 'problems'

You don't have to like her. All she did was let her fans know she's okay and that she'll still play tennis which is a great relief for me and all her fans. My heart goes out to her and she'll find the courage to get through her difficult period.

roflmao Poor LDF!
I understood what was happening LDF, but this lot eh? roflmao
Anyway thanks for posting that. I had wondered if she was divorcing her husband and now it has been confirmed. It's all very sad, and I feel sorry for her becasue that kind of thing can knock you for six. I hope she comes back fighting because she is is the best all rounder otu there and the game needs her :ok: I know she wants privacy but I can't help but wonder why they split. I hope that Pierre Yves wasn't trying to get her to quit and have kids or something, and I hope he's not trying to get her hands on his hard earned cash, the gold digger! roflmao
Anyway best of luck Justine  I'm sure you'll come back fighting. :ok:
PS my advice chcuk Y-P's stuff in bin bags, dump it outside and divorce the swine asap :D And get a pre-nuptual agreement next time!

Extremely tough for JHH because she has burnt her boats with her family. I don't know whether she has anyone really close to her now that she can love and trust who is not associated with tennis.
Good luck to her - along with Mauresmo and Hingis I think she is by far and away the most entertaining player to watch and also the most complete player.
Just looked at the link to her website - she is now Justine Henin again.
That didn't take long....

Oh dear, it can be very lonely even when you are a huge star. Her husband was very supportive when she had a bad spate of her illness. I do feel really sorry for her because even if the split if the right thing, she's going to mis sher husband at times and get very upset. :( it will take a lot of getting used to.
I agree on JHH and MoMo - the best two players in the game to watch IMO.
lalitha - January 27, 2007 11:35 AM (GMT)
Yeah sad for her..thought she wasn't going to repeat the form that carried her thru last year but now I certainly think that she'll be back even stronger
ALLEZ JUJU!!!! :ok:
