3 British women up for nominations for best actress. Will any one them win and does anyone care anymore? It seems to me when someone wins one, you hardly hear of them again

Look at the year that 4 British actresses and 1 American actress got nominated for best actress Oscars (I think it included Judi Dench and Kate Winslet) and the one American actress won it - Helen Hunt for As Good As It Gets! :o
