Yes, good idea roflmao

I love a fish called Wanda, but Dogma is awesome (and its got Alanis in it  ) so i have voted dogma

The Dav - January 21, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
By the way, the groups will be merged after this round ends :D

Dinky Jo - January 22, 2007 08:43 AM (GMT)
They're all pretty good films! And really different comedy styles too! Be interesting to see if anyone actually remembers to vote though - as there's so much excitement in the Aussie Open :P

Russiafan - January 22, 2007 12:43 PM (GMT)
I voted Dogma because I love Kevin Smith movies up until Jersey Girl...and I won't even talk about Clerks II

Bethany: You were martyred?
Rufus: That's one way of putting it. Another way of putting it would be to say that I was bludgeoned to death by huge *bleep*ing rocks.

SuperBRAT - January 23, 2007 12:06 PM (GMT)
Not a fan of any of these really. But as I saw Dogma recently and it did make some great religious jokes (and George highly recommends it) I'm going for that.

Could we have to turn to the judges SerenaW19, LDF and dl for the first time?! :o

God I hope not roflmao

Never seen Dogma. I might have to check it out based on the responses here. I voted for Wanda. Four Weddings was good, but not an all-time fav. I didn't really care that much for Something About Mary, but it did have it's moments.

Are you sure you voted for Wanda Nick? Cos Four Weddings has just had a vote cast

I voted a couple days back. B)

Nick Havoc - January 23, 2007 08:27 PM (GMT)
Looks like I may have voted for the losing entry, though.

The Dav - January 23, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
I'm surprised by the vote, I thought Dogma would lose

you might find Dogma "interesting" Nick!

It's a story about 2 angels who have been banished from heaven and who find a way back, but if they get back they will prove God wrong, and therefore destroy existence!

On the way, we have naked apostles, strip joints, sh*t demons, abortion clinics - oh, and an awful lot of swearing! Oh, and Alan Rickman! :D

umm....no, maybe not!

I've tried to get a few of my Christian friends to watch it, but for some reason they don't seem to think that they'll like it - i can understand that!

Kevin Smith was raised a Catholic and has a few issues with that religion, and decided to make a movie about it! It's a good film though, one of his best! (certainly anything is better than Jersey Girl!)

me too :D

Only problem is, I bought my DVD in Belgium. I didn't realise that they have such strict censorship laws there, so virtually the whole of the last section has been cut to shreds!

I really hate that!

Think I'll have to buy a new copy

So is it horror or musicals? You can't seriously have the two cos how are you going to pick among them as they are so different? I'm confused! :D
