After being very cautious in the recent past about Serena's chances (hopes have been dashed too early too often) I'm starting to get quite excited. Still won't get too hopeful, but I think we may be seeing the re-emergence of something of the old Serena.

I put my hands up, I did underestimate Serena in this tournament, but she has really impressed me with her win today. Unfortunately I didn't manage to wake for it, but the result looks amazing, and Serena is looking a serious contender for this title! :)

I happened to waken at 5 in the morning to watch this match since Australia is 9 hours ahead of us and needless to say that I wasnt disappointed!
Serena,like my friend said at our tennis club on Saturday,the more Serena plays the better she will get.And this is very very evident.
If you guys saw the look in her eyes when she was coming out on top in almost every long rally it was scary.She had this killer look,gritting her teeth with a super clenched fist!She is hungry and her desire is back.
Its my opinion that she is guaranteed a semi final spot because she will have too much for Shahar Peer!
I told you guys,Serena will stun the world.Finally some order is returned to the WTA!!!!!!!!!

Guys the picture of Serena as my signature is what I was talking about.This is how she looked after one intense rally.Now you lot tell me if this girl isnt out to destroy all the jokers and restore order to the WTA or not!!!!!!
