Is it me, or is his backhand a little bit less consistent than it was at the end of last year? Mind you, he's still playing well; there are just a few more shots he's missed on it than I would have thought.

I agree. Novak hasn't been playing badly, but whenever he's managed to put Roger under pressure, Roger just upped the game a bit.

I could still Novak stealing a set from Roger if the circumstances are right (i.e., if Roger loses concentration a bit, as he sometimes does e.g. in the third), but it doesn't look likely.

Roger had set point on Djokovic's serve there, but Novak saves with an ace.

I agree its always possible.
But Fed is so good and from the past matches I just cant see him slipping up here.

Robredo just won against the much-touted Gasquet, in four sets.

I'm not a big fan of Robredo's game, but he's been doing extremely well recently. Still, I really don't see him having the weapons to give Roger trouble. :shrug:

Well Roddick has playing well so he has a much better chance than before thats for sure and Rafa has shown he can beat Fed.

But still the way Fed is playing I'd bet on him to win this anyday.

My prediction came true: Novak won 9 games off Roger, while Youzhny won 12.

Still, I was impressed by his game; he played well against Roger today.

Unfortunately the much anticipated Federer-Gasquet is not going to happen.
The showdown between Federer-Roddick would be awesome.
