I thought that the Mirza Nakamura match was one of the toughest to call in the women's side of the prediction contest this time around..

It isn't helped by Mirza's inconsistency though.. she can be guns a-blazing.. or firing blanks..

Great about Vera though! :yahoo:

Molik went on to win that third set 6-2.

Ashley Harkleroad leads Groenefeld 6-2 2-0

I can just imagine the Mirza scenario, probably just a slew of forehand errors as per usual with this woman

Great for Molik though, Kanepi is a reall hard opponent, excellent serve, brutal forehand. molik needed a match like this, just to solidify her commitment to her stamina in her comeback........

Yip.. that just about sums Mirza up.. Smash! Bang! Wallop! Makes Gael Monfils look cautious by comparison at times..

Here's a quote from her about today's match taken from the beeb, with the beeb's rather dry comment to go with it:

"The court felt like it was too small and I just couldn't put the ball in."
Sania Mirza learns how the rest of us feel when we play tennis.
