No, I'm not becoming Selesfan on you, but I have a coworker who is going through a very difficult time. His teenage daughter has been ill for almost a month now. She has been hospitalised since the day after Christmas, but the doctors don't seem to be able to diagnose what the problem is. She appears to have some sort of severe respiratory infection, but they haven't been able to pin down what it is or find any treatment that seems to help. She's in pretty serious shape now and is on a ventilator to assist in her breathing.

Those of you who believe in the power of prayer, pray for this young girl and for her family and the doctors and nurses who are treating her.

The girl's name, btw, is Shelby, and she is 14 years old.

I am also praying for a friend of mine who has been diagnosed with cancer very recently and starting chemo this very week. I am sure I can make time to pray for Shelby also. :hug:

Wasn't sure if I should post or not, as I don't want to bring down the mood of the board, but Shelby didn't make it. She passed away Wednesday morning. Thanks for those who had her in your prayers. It means a lot to the family, that so many people were thinking of them and praying for Shelby.
